We offer a number of services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us, such as golf course and club information. In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Information you provide – When you sign up for a Gallus Golf account or request other services from us, we ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address, and an account password) by which you may be personally identified. By providing this unique information you can perform certain services such as recovery of your scorecard data, participate in a loyalty program, and receive in app offers. Providing your email address via a Gallus Golf developed application does not sign you up for any new email marketing that you have not already signed up for, and separate consent for email marketing purposes must be obtained. For certain services, such as our donation and/or purchasing programs, we also request credit card or other payment account information (such as your postal address, telephone number) along with the details of transactions you carry out through our website and the fulfillment of your orders, which is maintained in encrypted form on secure servers. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other Gallus Golf services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we will give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information.
  • Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies - As you navigate through and interact with our website, services, or partner websites, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

Gallus Golf processes personal data as a Controller, as defined by the GDPR. All data collected by us will be stored in secure hosting facilities by Amazon Web Services. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations.


Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies – Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the website are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our website. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. 


The information collected by Gallus Golf when you enable a widget or other application is processed under this privacy policy.   • Round data – Round information collected while using scoring services may be shared with Gallus Golf partners and in some cases displayed publicly on leaderboards.
  • Location data – Gallus Golf may offer location-enabled services, such as on-course GPS distance information for mobile devices. If you use those services, Gallus Golf may receive information about your actual location (such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device) or information that can be used to approximate a location (such as a cell ID)
  • Links – Gallus Golf may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our search technology, customized content and advertising.


Gallus Golf only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, such purposes include:


  • Providing our services, including the display of customized content and advertising;
